Pre-Order Policy

At Tales & Terrors, we offer pre-orders for select upcoming trading card releases, booster boxes, and pop-culture collectibles so you can reserve high-demand products before their official release dates.

Please read our Pre-Order Policy carefully prior to placing your order.

1. Payment & Reservation

  • Full Payment at Checkout: Payment for all pre-order items is processed in full at the time of purchase. This guarantees your allocated stock and reserves your item directly in our inventory system.

  • Price Lock Guarantee: The price you pay when you place your pre-order is locked. If the market price increases prior to or following the official release date, your order price will not change.

2. Release Dates & Delays

  • Estimated Release Dates: Release dates are set and provided by official product manufacturers (e.g., The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Ravensburger).

  • Manufacturer Delays: Release dates are subject to change due to manufacturer production or logistical delays beyond our control. If a release date is pushed back, your pre-order will remain active and valid, and it will be dispatched as soon as stock arrives at our warehouse.

3. Shipping & Mixed Orders

  • Dispatch Window: Pre-ordered items are processed and shipped on or shortly after their official street release date, adhering to our standard 1–3 business day handling time.

  • Combined In-Stock & Pre-Order Items: If you purchase in-stock products and pre-order products in a single order, the entire order will be held until all items are in stock and ready to ship.

💡 Recommendation: If you want your in-stock items delivered immediately, please place separate orders for in-stock and pre-order products.

4. Distributor Allocations & Unfulfillment

While we work closely with our authorized distributors to ensure full fulfillment, the collectible and TCG industry occasionally experiences distributor cuts or short-allocations.

In the rare event that our distributor allocations are cut or shorted by the manufacturer:

  1. Orders will be fulfilled in the exact order they were received.

  2. Any unfulfilled orders or partial shortages will be cancelled immediately and refunded 100% in full to your original payment method.

5. Pre-Order Cancellations

  • You may cancel a pre-order prior to shipment by contacting us at support@talesandterrors.com.

  • Once an item has been packaged, processed, or handed over to the shipping carrier, the order can no longer be cancelled. Sealed collectible items are governed by our standard [Return & Refund Policy].
